The second stage of the national finals of the 2024 U17 National Youth Championship kicked off on September 20th in three different cities: Dalian, Weifang, and Zhuhai. The Changchun Yatai U17 team will face Jinan Licheng Second Middle School in their first match in the Dalian division.

In the first stage of the tournament, which took place from August 20th to 31st, the Changchun Yatai U17 team achieved impressive results. They defeated Harbin First Vocational High School 5-0, Tanghu Foreign Language School B team in Chengdu 2-0, Zunhua Yizhong Middle School 4-0, and suffered a close 0-1 loss to Guangzhou Baoyuyan Middle School. With 3 wins and 1 loss, they finished second in Group P in the Qingdao division, earning 9 points and advancing to the second stage.

The second stage of the tournament will be held from September 18th to 29th in Dalian, Weifang, and Zhuhai. Changchun Yatai U17 team is placed in Group B in the Dalian division, alongside Hubei Football Association Starlight Youth Training Academy, Wuhan Santian U17 team, Changsha Lushan International Experimental School team, Jinan Licheng Second Middle School team, and Chongqing Fengmingshan Middle School team.

On September 20th at 13:30, Changchun Yatai U17 team will go up against Jinan Licheng Second Middle School team.
